The Condition Assessment Tab on the Equipment Device card is a way to begin tracking capital planning details for your organization’s equipment, which can simplify project replacement planning.
Condition Assessment Fields
- The assessment date is the date that the equipment was last visually inspected or reviewed by an employee or organization.
- Within UNITY, a cascading list can be built to standardize equipment into specific groups.
- The timeframe is the timeframe in which the equipment would need to be replaced based on the assessment date.
- Major Function – select the overall major function for better grouping of equipment.

The data fields available on the Condition Assessment tab allow organizations to run reports such as the sample below.
In the example below, an organization can see the dollars required in the budget in 4-7 years.
