What are Advanced Options in Notifications?

Notification Devices can be set up to receive notifications about work orders containing certain keywords. These settings can be added while creating a new Device or while editing an existing one.

Advanced Options: Keywords

 

  • To add keyword triggers to a Notification Device, open the Keywords tab on the selected Device

  • Type a desired keyword, such as “lock” or “temperature” in the blank field on this tab

  • Then, click the << button to add the keyword to the Associated Keywords list

  • Multiple keywords can be added to the Associated Keywords list by repeating the above process until all desired keywords are entered
  • To remove a keyword from the list, select the keyword then click the Remove button

  • Click the Save Changes button below the form when satisfied with the Associated Keywords list

Advanced Options: Planner

 Notification Devices can be set up so that notifications are not sent to the pager/cell during off-work time, either for a specific date range or for every day during certain hours.

  • To add off-work time to a Notification Device, click the Planner tab on the selected Device

  • This tab includes a “How to use this planner” section, which can be expanded by clicking the wording at the top of the Planner tab

  • To add a daily period of time or a set date range as “Non Work Time,” refer to the “How to use this planner” section to set the desired range, then click the arrow button to add it
    • The below selection will prevent this pager/cell from receiving text notifications every day between 5:30 PM and 9:00 AM

  • To delete a range from the “Non Work Time” list, select it and then click the Delete button

  • Click the Save Changes button below the form when satisfied with the Planner settings
